Couplings for Automated Electronic Assembly Systems The ServoClass® couplings provide high torsional stiffness, zero backlash, and low hysteresis to ensure repeatable precise positioning at speeds up to 10,000 rpm. Their robust design ensures precise system operation in automated 24/7 applications, especially where stresses occur at increased speeds in a servo system. Designed with 304 stainless steel disc packs and 7075-T6 aluminum hubs, the couplings are inherently strong, durable and precisely balanced. To ensure precise alignment of the assembled components, ISO 4762 CL12.9 corrosion-resistant socket head cap screws are utilized with a carefully controlled assembly process. The units are available in single and double flex models in inch and metric bore sizes from 0.157 inch (4 mm) to 1.750 inch (45 mm). All models and sizes feature clamp style hubs and operate in temperatures from -22° to +212°F (-30° to +100°C). |

Air HoisT The EH 125 air-operated hoist has a life capacity of 125 tons, operates from a 6-bar air pressure, and is equipped with 10kW and 2.8kW rated motors for the lifting and traverse functions respectively. In standard format, the hoist is supplied with a six double-chain mechanism providing a three-meter lift at speeds of 0.30 m/min within a full load, and 0.38 m/min on lowering. Horizontal travel speeds of 6 m/min are achieved with maximum load and 8 m/min when unloaded. A two-meter length flexible connection is supplied with an ergonomic multi-function pendant controller for precise, infinitely variable control of the lift/lowering and traverse operations for safe, accurate load placements. The hoist is designed for operating within heavy industries such as steelworks, cement, chemical, power generation and shipbuilding plants as well as the oil and gas markets. The product is 100% duty rated while also being insensitive to humidity and dust laden atmospheres, and can operate within a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. |

Winch Control The new HPC winch control features HP control with pressure cutoff for the Series V14 variable displacement hydraulic motors, and improves winch operation and operator productivity. The control provides smooth operation and provides for good operator comfort in many motor applications such as winch and hoisting drives and in construction machinery such as mobile cranes. Other benefits include high start torque, high efficiency and reliability throughout the entire displacement range, and optimal stability and response. Key features of the V14 series include operating pressures to 6,960 psi (480 bar); high speeds; nine (9) pistons for high start-up torque, smooth operation; wide displacement range – 5:1; small envelope size with high power-to-weight ratio; low noise levels due to the sturdy compact design, smooth fluid passages; the ability to work under extreme conditions; and low operational cost. |

Simulation Software Tool PumpLinx® 3D simulation software tool is suited for the analysis and design of pumps, motors, compressors, propellers, valves, hydraulic systems, and other fluid devices with rotating or sliding components. It can be used to improve efficiency, minimize cavitation, control pressure ripple, and reduce noise. The tool enables the engineer to create a virtual test article and generate flow visualization and engineering output as accurate as a full-scale hardware test. Other features include a new design of graphic interface and post-processing data structure (supports up to four concurrent display of GL project windows); expanded valve and pump templates, such as new remesh model for rotational devices and variable displacement vane pump; more physics models, such as dynamics module for any translational and rotational movements; and more advanced porous resistance model; and major improvements of Conformal Adaptative Binary-tree (CAB) mesher: memory usage and time to generate mesh are reduced significantly. |

Side-Mount Level Switches Several new versions to the LS-7 series of robust point level switches are made from Gems Versaplast™ engineered plastic for high temperature applications up to 300°F (148.9°C). The plastic enables the new LS-7 Series sensors to provide an affordable solution for handling high-temperature applications and corrosive fluids. The LS-7 level switches are suitable for use within methylene chloride and anti-freeze tanks, and are well suited for low coolant, low hydraulic monitoring within off-highway vehicle and transportation applications. Additional specifications include pressure capability to 100 psi (6.8 bar), and a float arc of just 1.25 inches – beneficial in confined spaces. Options include internal and externally installed versions, and metric or U.S. threads. |

Expansion Grippers The revamped “Expander” grippers are up to 30% lighter than and just as universal as the four existing versions due to a lightweight aluminum design. This allows for higher dynamics, especially in complex gripper systems with many expansion grippers. Another new feature is that all grippers have clamping shafts (14 to 30 mm) for connecting to the FIPA gripper construction kit and all standard systems. |

Air-Driven Liquid Pumps The E, H, and P Series air-driven liquid pumps offer a plug-and-play design for quick and simple installation in applications requiring hydraulic pressures from 100 psi to 10,000 psi. A built-in air regulator allows for varying inlet air pressure from 0 psi to 125 psi and a wide range of hydraulic output pressures. The pumps consume little or no energy upon achieving the desired hydraulic pressure, and pressure is held for long periods without energy consumption. No heat is generated while maintaining pressure, eliminating the need for larger than required oil reservoirs or heat exchangers used with electric driven hydraulic units. |
