Eaton and Hydraquip Host End-User Pump Control Training Eaton Corporation and Hydraquip Distribution hosted seminars on pump controls in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Okla., as well as at an Oklahoma City producer of oilfield service equipment. Led by Eaton Application and Commercial Engineering and Product Management personnel, the seminars educated engineering, purchasing, maintenance, and operator personnel on controls for open- and closed-loop pumps and hydrostatic transmissions and their operation. Each quarter, Hydraquip invites technical experts from manufacturers it represents to lead in-depth, application-focused technical sessions on a new concept or technology. AW-Lake Signs Distributor Agreement with Peacock AW-Lake Company has signed a distribution agreement with Peacock, a division of Kinecor, to stock, distribute, and support flow measurement systems from the AW-Lake brands AW Gear Meters and SABRE Flow Turbines. The agreement unifies AW-Lake’s Canadian market and provides more localized support. The two companies are working together to target oil and gas, HVAC, food and beverage, water, and pharmaceutical markets. |

PIRTEK South Philadelphia Celebrates 10 Years in Business PIRTEK South Philadelphia, Pa., marked 10 years of servicing customers with on-site replacement needs. Bill Zetterlund is the original owner of the business, which is located in Folcroft. Responsible for day-to-day operations is Pat Monahan, who joined the business in 2006 as general manager and became a partner in 2007. The business has evolved over the past decade from being an on-site hose and fitting source primarily for construction and recycling accounts to its current-day status as a source for marine, transportation, and manufacturing customers. |
